China May Finance Sunda Strait Project

VIVAnews - The Indonesian government has in store a financing source for the development of Sunda Strait Bridge. Coordinating Minister for the Economy Hatta Rajasa said the chance is from China which has earlier offered special financing for infrastructures in Indonesia.
 
"China prepares infrastructure fund," said Hatta in Jakarta, on Thursday, April 8.
 
Therefore, Hatta went on to say, the Indonesian government will allocate the fund for the construction of Sunda Strait Bridge.
 
The project will require more than Rp 100 trillion (US$11 billion) and the government will have to take from other financing sources.
 
"The Sunda Strait Bridge project is not yet fixed. The scheme is being designed," he said.
