VIVAnews - PT Krakatau Steel (KS) and Pohang Iron and Steel Company (Posco) have completed the plan to set up a joint venture, which has been in postponement.
Coordinating Minister of State-owned Enterprises (SOEs), Mustafa Abubakar, said the signing of the joint-venture will be carried out on August 4, 2010.
"For the time being, both parties are finalizing the joint venture with Posco," said Mustafa today, August 3.
As reported, Ministry of State-owned Enterprises called on Krakatau Steel to settle the partnership documents with Posco.
The completion of partnership documents helped delay the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Krakatau and teh South Korean steel company. Initially, the MoU was designed to be signed on July 22, 2010.
"We ask Krakatau Steel to complete the documents," said Mustafa.
